David Rastrick and Jazztrix
Fragments and Dreams is a collection of five tunes - A Latin Jazz song, a blues, a hard-bop tune, a comedy waltz and another blues!
Fragments and Dreams is a collection of some of David Rastrick's compositions from different decades, in different jazz-based styles. The songs were recorded mostly live at Sean Lillico's Fur Real Studio in Injinup (near Yallingup) one evening on Saturday 10th of April 2021.
Together - A love song, a samba, written in Broome WA (2006).
Stolen Country Blues - the most recently written song on the EP (2021) - speaks of Australia healing from the wounds of western colonisation and coming together for a positive shared future.

Opening Night - A 'Toxic Waltz'(so named because of its dissonant harmony), set in a haunted ballroom... (1999). Some sound effects and organ sounds were added to the live recording.
