David Rastrick

David Rastrick is a multi-instrumentalist and singer from south-west W.A. David plays an enjoyable mix of reggae, jazz, soul and more, with original and classic songs, for fun dancing and intriguing listening. David plays an assortment of instruments, including trumpet, vocals, guitar, e-Cajún and looping, making a memorable musical experience.

David's toured his solo show 'round Australia, wowing audiences from Gabin to Kalbarri, Carnarvon, Broome, Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek, Kununurra,  Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane, Tamborine, Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, Hobart, Alice Springs, Wirrulla and Denmark (Kwoorabup), Margaret River (Wooditjup) and Albany (Kinjarling).

David has different solo shows, depending on the venue or event, and all a mix of of original songs and classics:

One is a collection mellow and jazzy tunes with simple instrumentation of voice, trumpets and guitar, suited for background music, quiet or classy events and venues.

A second show is voice, trumpets and acoustic guitars, playing acoustic roots and blues, and is suitable for bars.

A third show is jazz-reggae / dub looping with voice, trumpets, guitar, electronic percussion and synth', to suit concerts and dancing at various venues.
