David Rastrick is a trumpet player, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, song-writer/arranger, band leader and session musician from regional southwest Western Australia. Stylistically, David specialises in jazz, reggae, Ska, soul and funk, whilst diversifying into global fusion, rock, pop, blues, folk, classical, musical comedy, and music for dance, theatre or circus productions. While playing shows throughout southwest WA. David is currently completing a Doctorate in Creative Arts (Music), exploring Oceanic Jazz composition via intercultural collaboration.
