MOONBASS

MoonBass are one of the Great Southern’s funkiest outfits, playing a mix of funk, soul, disco and R&B for your dancing pleasure.

MoonBass is co-fronted by vocal star Rosie Williamson and trumpet player / multi-instrumentalist / vocalist David Rastrick, with a funky rhythm section of Rosco Dwyer - guitar, Greg Watson - drum-kit & synth' bass, and sometimes Grant Moulden on bass guitar. (The band is sometimes joined by special guests on keyboard and/or saxophone.)

MoonBass’ repertoire features dance classics by artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, ABBA and more, plus some original songs by Rosie Williamson and David Rastrick. With songs made for dancing, MoonBass will lift you outta this world!

MoonBass perform at several local live music venues, and have featured at local music festivals and private events, as well as releasing their debut EP online and on CD in 2023. MoonBass are currently working on material for their upcoming album recording.
